(Series 10-18) “Exploring a traditional Indian
motif of kolam designs or rice flour designs
that are traditionally drawn on the ground
outside doorways. In this series of paintings,
using the kolam design, I am considering the
nature of memory when the very stuffing of
an elephant is taken out.”
